Eye health isn’t limited to how you see the world. Total vision care also focuses on how others see you. Baggy or saggy eyelids, fine lines, and other skin damage near the eyes can make you appear tired and old beyond your years.
So, even if you feel youthful and lead an active life, your eyes may be telling the world a different story.

Eyelid Rejuvenation
Loose skin around your eyes can make you look tired or sad or older than you really are. This image-boosting eyelid procedure can be performed on the upper or lower eyelids to remove excess skin and fat from around the eyes. The result is a more youthful appearance and, in the case of people with drooping upper eyelids, often clearer vision.
Our Ophthalmologists have the expertise needed to effectively and safely treat conditions related to the eyelids, which are extremely complex and delicate structures vital to the preservation of sight. These procedures include:
- Blepharoplasty—An eyelid rejuvenation of extra tissue above and below the eyelids that can impair vision and make you look tired, sad or older than you really are.
- Ptosis Repair—Elevation of a drooping upper eyelid caused by weakened eyelid muscles.
- Entropion Repair—Surgically corrects a condition where eyelids are turned inward (usually lower eyelid).
- Ectropion—Surgically corrects a condition where eyelids are turned outward (usually lower eyelid).
- Treatment for Benign Essential Blepharospasms— A neurological condition characterized by forcible closure of the eyelids due to involuntary muscle contractions.
BOTOX®
Prescription BOTOX® treatments are tailored to effectively meet individual patient needs while protecting vision. For example, simple BOTOX procedures can help eliminate eyelid and facial twitching, helping to improve vision and quality of life. Treatments also can be used to help restore a more youthful appearance by smoothing out folds, crevices and wrinkles in the corner of the eyes or in between the eyebrows.
Latisse®
Eyelashes help protect the eye and are essential for overall healthy vision. Latisse, the only FDA-approved prescription treatment for hypotrichosis (inadequate eyelashes), is used to help people grow longer, thicker, and darker lashes. Since the solution is applied to the base of the eyelids, it’s important to have a skilled ophthalmologist prescribe and monitor treatment.
LUMIFY®
